300/365: embracing the grain

{embracing the grain}
A dark day meant playing with really high ISOs. (4000 for these first two shots!) While I could have done some "de-noising" in the processing, I didn't bother. I embraced the grain today! :)

Above: Kate helped Daddy pull my car in the garage. She immediately put my sunglasses on when she sat in the driver's seat. Monkey see, monkey do! He even let her honk the horn... over and over and over again. :)

Middle: Caroline. I really love this shot of her. It kind of makes me want to go scoop her up from her crib right now and cuddle with her.

Bottom: Kate holding my hand as we walked inside. (ISO only 400 on that one.)

365 feels SOOOO close now!!!

297/365: a new friend

{a new friend}
My mom bought this huge stuffed lion for Kate. Caroline likes him, too. The only problem is that he looks the exact same size and color as Kirby, so at quick glances I think it is Kirby. At least 10 times today I mistook that lion for Kirby. You'd think I would figure it out.

In this shot, you see a bit of all of them including Kirby on the far left and Kate's foot at the top. They were all in a little pile in the living room.

295/365: saturday

{saturday}
So nice to spend a day together, cheering on our Aggies!

Caroline all decked out in her Aggie finest, too.

Kate very interested in Caroline's bow... And no, I promise Caroline isn't an unassisted sitter yet! She is only good for a few seconds at a time.

Touchdown!

So glad I caught this expression. It's one I get a lot.

Kirby would like for Kate to share.

Happy Saturday!

291/365: just Caroline

{just Caroline}
Kate went to MDO this morning, so I had time to focus just on this sweet pea.
Do you want to know what she did right after this? She scootched her way over to Kate's firetruck and started playing with it. I told her she's only 4 and a half months old and that's way too young to be on the move already. Ignoring me, she fiddled with the levers which started the sirens and moved the ladder, just like she knew exactly what she was doing. Growing up way. too. fast.
