it's the little things: motherhood

My baby turns two on Friday. She has been bursting with personality lately, and she has grown up so much over the last couple of months. This is such a fun age, and I just want to bottle it all up.

Motherhood is longing for my baby to stay a baby for just a bit longer.

cousin time

We went to College Station for the weekend, so the girls got LOTS of cousin time! It's such a joy to watch their relationships grow.

wildflowers play date

The girls and I met our friends, "the other Kate and Caroline," at a patch of wildflowers for an evening shoot. (Kate is my friend's name, and her daughter's name is Caroline. Yes, it gets confusing, and Kate refers to her friend Caroline as "the other Caroline" in conversation. Ha!) Kate is a fellow photographer, and we love to get together as often as possible for play dates. We are two peas in a pod! Oh, and the little girls have fun, too. :)
