This weekend we visited our neighborhood pool for the first and second times this season. Caroline took to the water immediately, and Kate required a little more time to feel at ease. By the end of day 1, though, both girls were jumping in from the side, and felt comfortable floating unassisted (Puddle Jumpers on, of course). Yesterday Kate surprised us both by wanting to jump in without us catching her (and going under)! Our swim lessons are scheduled for next month, so we'll see what happens without the floaties then!
