Kate had her dance recital today! Their song was Shirley Temple's "Animal Crackers in my Soup." After their dress rehearsal yesterday, I didn't think things were going to go so great, but they delivered! Kate especially was in a bad mood today (really packed weekend!), and I couldn't even put on her makeup since she was so upset. We did manage to get the costume on and she had no tears on stage. In fact, she did way more of the dance than I even thought she knew! :) Video wasn't allowed during the performance today. (I had planned on buying a copy until I learned they were $40.... Ummmmm, not happening.) So, you'll have to make due with a video I took in class the day they got their costumes. (Scroll all the way down for the video.)
