little artist
I know I posted photos of Kate painting with watercolors not too long ago, but it's just so much easier to shoot when they're still. ;) Love Caroline's sweet cheeks in these. She's getting so big, but she's still my baby.

Kate and Caroline will be leopards for the "Noah's Ark" dress up day at school on Tuesday, and Caroline's been breaking her costume in. The little leopard is obsessed with climbing up to play with the light switches. Such a cute little stinker!
(Sept. 27) We go every year to the Celina "Big Orange Pumpkin Farm" with our life group friends. I decided just to blow through a roll of film rather than overshoot and have more pictures in my editing queue! I decided just to take a chance and get them developed at Walgreens. Walgreens didn't do so hot (they have some bad lines running through them), but since these were just snapshots, I didn't really mind.

Highly imperfect, but sharing anyway. :)
I know her eyes are closed, but it was too cute not to share...
So proud of Kate for working up the nerve to feed the animals this year. Caroline didn't want to have any part of that!
Just a fraction of our crew:
I have no clue when this was... just some cloudy morning mid-summer! Nothing special, but I haven't posted in forever, so I wanted to add something. Nikon D80 + Sigma 35mm f/1.4 lens
Portra 400, box speed, overexposed by 1-2 stops

We met Nick for lunch at Patina Green today, but the real treat was the Calico Critters dollhouse next door at Goodies toy store.
So glad to be done with my July photo-a-day project!
